Providers:  Please see the information (below) that we were provided today regarding a recall of products that may be used in nursing homes.

On 3/28/13, Rich Products, manufacturers of Farm Rich brand and Market Day brand frozen appetizers issued a recall of a number of their products manufactured at their plant in Waycross, GA because of a multi-state outbreak of E. coli 121, including several cases in MI.

As of today, Rich Products has expanded the recall to include all products produced at this plant, including a number of items that may have been distributed to restaurants, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, etc. Please see the page at http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm346633.htm for a full list of the recalled products as of 4/4.
