In these uneasy times of social distancing and restricted visits, the team at First & Main Assisted Living and Memory Care has brought back a sense of normalcy with their ‘Resident and Family Communication Lounge.’ Complete with lounge chairs, shade for sunny days, and markers and paper to craft notes to loved ones, the lounge is a designated space for families to visit safely on opposite sides of large windows. They wanted to share their story of the lounge “not only to lift hearts, but to give ideas to others of how we are able to keep safe here while having those important connections during this time.” We love the idea of this special space to have quality time together while social distancing!

Check out First & Main’s Facebook page for more creative ideas to keep spirits high:

Sweet family note from Kelly to her parents on the other side of the door as they are having a safe visitation moment! We love this! ❤️❤️❤️
