Highland Park Care Center from Alliance, Nebraska recently received a visit from Kyren Gibson and her talented artistic crew from the Alliance Carnegie Arts Center. Armed with bright acrylic paints and creativity, the artists painted flowers, birds, wildlife, and rays of sunshine on the facility’s windows to bring the outside in. As residents practice social distancing, they now have cheerful scenery to enjoy as they gaze out their windows. Highland Park Care Center said they were truly humbled by the lovely gesture, calling it “a demonstration of talented people giving of themselves strictly for the mental benefit of our resident family.” We would like to extend our appreciation to these innovative heroes for using their time and talent to spread such joy!
