As the seasons change, it’s time to make sure that our residents and staff stay protected against COVID-19. With new variants constantly emerging, getting the latest COVID-19 vaccine for fall can assist in preventing respiratory infections. We know how quickly illness can spread in our communities, so staying ahead of the curve with up-to-date vaccinations is crucial.

The CDC has released updated guidelines, providing clear information on where and how to find the COVID-19 vaccine for this fall season.

The new COVID-19 vaccine recommendations consider factors such as age and health conditions, both of which are key considerations for our residents and staff. Not only does the vaccine help prevent serious illness, but it also reduces the strain on staff by decreasing the risk of outbreaks.

Make sure you work with your team to identify who is eligible for the fall COVID-19 vaccine and consider offering an on-site vaccination clinic for staff as well. A proactive approach to health is always the best strategy! Stay well and stay informed!
