"Be prepared" written on blocks

ASPR TRACIE is a healthcare preparedness information gateway that provides access to information and resources to assist providers in improving their individual emergency response plans.

The most recent addition to the toolkit published online is the “Influenza Pandemic Checklist”. This tool is intended to assist health care providers and their partners in assessing their preparedness for an influenza pandemic. It is assumed that the basic all-hazards are already in place such as incident management structures and principles, sharing capabilities, EMS, disaster and surge capacity plans, and emergency contract notification lists.

While this tool was developed to address preparedness for an influenza pandemic, providers may find that many of these assumptions and the activities described on the toolkit document are applicable to any pandemic, regardless of the cause! Access this great tool and many others, it never hurts to be prepared!
